When the revitalization process for the schools of the Diocese of Buffalo began, it became immediately evident that parental input was needed in order to determine what programs, facilities, and resources parents are looking for when they choose a Catholic school.
With approximately 11,000 students in our Catholic schools, the concern was how to make it possible for every parent to provide input and opinions in the most efficient manner so that all suggestions could be considered by the various planning groups. Thus, this survey was constructed and put online so that everyone interested in providing input to this process was afforded the opportunity to do so.
The following survey asks you to rank the factors that have guided you into sending your child to a Catholic school, and to your current school in particular. Next, the survey offers you the chance to direct persons involved in the planning to consider parents’ views on the ideal programs, parent involvement options, and resources that the ideal Catholic school should have. Finally, there is an opportunity for you to express your views in several open-ended items.
