Siskiyou Arts Council offers a variety of services to area artists, including very affordable memberships that offer a free web page as part of the SAC Artist Registry, opportunities for solo/duo and group shows in the SAC Gallery, events with vendor opportunities, promotion of shows and artist events, education, and more.
SAC is currently looking to connect with artists of all types (visual, music, dance, theater, fiber, etc.) in an effort to develop a database that will allow artists to be matched with opportunities in the area, and in some cases outside, as we can match artist types to calls from other areas.
For example, SAC is currently seeking environmental artist vendors for Art on the Block & EcoArt Festival August 3rd. Also, our gallery offers themed group shows, and can contact artists who are specifically interested in a particular style or theme.
