The Ubuntu Manual team is working on a project to create the Ubuntu Manual. It is a complete beginners manual for the Ubuntu Desktop, featuring comprehensive guides, How Tos and information on anything you may need to know after first installing Ubuntu.

If you've never heard of it, Ubuntu is an operating system -- a very user-friendly, up-to-date distribution of Linux.

We need help from the community to give us some more information. We would prefer responses from beginner Ubuntu users, or from people who've tried to use Ubuntu in the past and had given up. If you are a seasoned Ubuntu user and can recall when you first started using Ubuntu, we would appreciate your input as well.
