Your time is valuable, and we want to be transparent about the Fellowship’s time commitment from the outset.

The 2026 Legal Ecosystem Fellowship will meet virtually on five Wednesdays: October 21 and 28; November 4 and 11; and December 2, 2026. Each live session will be held from 8:00–10:00 a.m. PT / 9:00–11:00 a.m. MT / 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. CT / 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. ET.

The total Fellowship time commitment is approximately 28 hours, including the live sessions and work completed outside of them. Fellows are expected to attend at least four of the five live sessions and complete the related work.

We value educational programming that is interactive, collaborative, and responsive to learners. Please share concrete examples of how you have incorporated these qualities into your life and/or your experience teaching farmers.
Peer-to-peer education is central to our educational values. Please share concrete examples of how you have fostered peer learning in your life and/or in your experience teaching farmers.
Our goal is to support each Fellow in hosting at least one one-hour educational program in their community during 2027. Describe what you would be interested in teaching, as well as the settings or audiences where you could offer the program. Opportunities may include leading a session through an existing farmer training program, presenting at a conference, or convening a webinar for a group of farmers.
